EX-PARTE HEARINGS

Emergency hearings are a necessary practice in family law.  The “rule of thumb” for many courtrooms for an Ex-Parte hearing is that there must be “blood on the walls”.  This means that this not a tool for everyday fussing and bickering, but meant to be used to protect the individuals involved in the case.  Ms. Burger has won many Ex-Parte hearings in her career as a Family Law Attorney.
